2. "When browsing for a location to extract your mod tool files, on that small window that appears there will be checkable option boxes at the bottom. Simply un-check the "use folder names" box. All the files will then be extracted into your CoD4 folder without being placed into folders within that folder. You now do not have to move any files from folder to folder. Just run the application.

3. That means you don’t have the correct version of DirectX. You need to install the latest version of DirectX 9.0c (found on the game disc, or www.microsoft.com). This is true even for Vista owners using DX10.
